contributions to Wiki Ligure
[modìfica wikitèsto]Hej MGA73, I asked you on a discussion page how you intend to contribute our Wiki. It is clear that you do not understand Genoese as you did not reply. You might keep your user page as it is, but other pages like this cannot be considered a real contribution as they are not written in Genoese. Also, we do not need to know who the top uploaders are as this would be no real enrichment to our Wiki. Be well, Luensu1959 (discuscioìn) 09:30, 29 màr 2025 (CET)
- Hello Luensu1959! It is correct that I no not understand Genoese. And if you have asked me a question I'm sorry but I have not seen it. I have checked my notifications and can't see any.
- I mostly work on files and I often make sure that all files have a license or are deleted if they do not. So I have made edits on almost 400 wikis. My edits here have been related to w:en:Wikipedia:GFDL standardization (removing disclaimers from GFDL) and en:Wikipedia:Image license migration (update from GFDL to GFDL+Cc-by-sa-3.0).
- The page Utente:MGA73/GFDL you have noticed is used in a discussion on Commons: c:Commons:Village_pump/Proposals#Proposal_(change_GFDL_cut-off_date). I have been working on GFDL for years and since June 2024 I have made a systematic work on GFDL on all wikis (there are 868 that I know of). You can see m:User:MGA73/GFDL files and the sub pages. When all wikis were checked I also made c:User:MGA73/GFDL-list to sum it up as a part of the discussion. During the discussion someone asked about the users that uploaded the files licensed GFDL and to be able to answer that question I needed a number of files like the page I created here.
- Since Wikipedia is licensed Cc-by-sa-4.0 then derivative works like spoken articles should also be cc-by-sa-4.0. If you check the license terms of https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0/ then you can see that it says "ShareAlike — If you remix, transform, or build upon the material, you must distribute your contributions under the same license as the original.". It would be a big help if you could help explain that in Genoese. --MGA73 (discuscioìn) 10:07, 29 màr 2025 (CET)
